our history
We are not a hotel.
Nor is it an apartment chain.
Our story begins much earlier.
Between 1936 and 1940, our grandfather Jaume lived in northern Morocco. He always told us about that place, its people, and their way of life. He taught us stories, he taught us to count in Arabic... and without knowing it, years later, all of that would come back to us.
In the 1990s we took our first trip to Morocco. And something happened. It captivated us.
We couldn't explain it, but we felt it. That first contact left a mark that never faded.
Time passed… but Morocco was still there.
Years later, Montse—her granddaughter—decided to take it a step further and move to Tetouan, where she volunteered with a children's and women's association. There she learned the language. There she understood the culture from within. And there, without realizing it, she fell in love with the country. From then on, Morocco ceased to be a destination. It became home.
We kept coming back.
Kilometers, encounters, stories…
A “Salam Aleikum” with a mint flavor.
Darbuka nights.
Days that smell of salt and spices.
Asilah and Tetouan.
Tetouan and Asilah.
That's where it all began.
Today we open our home so that you too can experience it.
Not as a tourist. But as part of our history.
