The Mediterranean coast

Tetouan, the white dove, described by the first Spaniards in 1860 as the most precious jewel in Andalusian Africa.  The name of Tetouan is of Berber origin, it seems to mean sources of water, due to the abundance of these in the city. The city spreads its white hamlet, on the slopes of the Yebel Dersa at an altitude of 90m, dominating the fertile plain of the Martil river, the nearby Mediterranean coast and the rugged crags of the Gorges.

Andalusian City, the white dove, former capital of the North of Morocco, currently with great regional influence.
